An adventure of celebration.

In celebration of my birthday on 10/21 I have linked up with Adam and Christian to undertake an off road venture which will be unveiled soon but culminates with meeting up with Kiefer and Haley and anyone who wants to join the celebration. Stay tuned on parknwithjackandkiefer.blogspot.com

Biscayne Bay on the Florida Atlantic Coast is about 2/3 protected by the Nat Park System due to fishing lobbiest have kept open to commercial fishing. The marine life around the coral reef is being devested and thus the Eco system is being destroyed. This is just a small example of the power and control of lobbiest and the onslaught of our Nat treasures...

Moab in October with a full moon...

The few days we spent camping in Moab were the best time of year and the bonus of a full moon.  We traveled the 2 National Parks, Canyonlands and Arches and hiked and saw nature at it's best.  Arches is the most spectacular and Canyonlands the most vast and scenic.  The weather was pristine and the visitors were few and far between.  All in all, we plan on doing it this time next year.  There is way too much beauty and serenity to take in on one journey.  Thank You Moab...

A Journey For a Lifetime...

Kiefer and I spent the better part of a week on the Southern California Beaches.  The contrast to our mountain world is the impetus for a perpetual smile in each of our hearts.  Protecting these icons of America are another treasure of our experience to be experienced.
