I read a great book called Riverhorse by William Least Heat-Moon when he chronicled his journey starting on the Hudson River throughout America on rivers only ending up at the mouth of the Columbia River into the Pacific Ocean. It is a great journey and an amazing look at our waterways throughout America today...
